Accommodations at San Benito House are designed to take you back to the days of the early 20th century, when the frills of modern life did not interfere with the experience of the breezes and smells of the California Coast, or the cool, dry nights and the warm afternoons.
The rooms do not have telephones or televisions in any of the rooms, so guests a sense of the quiet and calm that preceded the electronic age. While there are decorations that match the California coast theme, the look has the same themes of dark, polished woods, white walls and brass and other metals on the fittings that characterized the age.
Three of the rooms feature shared baths; the other eight have private baths, again, a nod back to the mores of the turn of the twentieth century. The Romance Suite also has a private bath. All of the rooms are appointed with such conveniences as an ironing board and coffee makers.
The Romance Suite offers a view of the downtown, and the suite’s added space affords couples the privacy to enjoy their special time together.
